Books
Many people find that learning is most effective when it is combined with a practical element...the doing part. But not to be forgotten is the research and reading that very often underpins what it is you are actually trying to do. Books can be informative, but they are also, for me, very inspiring too, and very often its that inspiration that goes a long way to providing guidance and direction in outdoor pursuits. I hope some of the titles that I highlight below, will be as inspiring for you as they have been for me, and along with the kit manuals, will give you a vision for your future.
